Back to Events Written on 23-Oct-2009 by DuskRobert Hood will be headlining a very special evening at the London club on Saturday 31st October. We're giving away 2 tickets and a copy of Fabric 39, his brilliant instalment of the venerable mix series. All you have to do is correctly answer the question at the bottom of this post.
If you're reading this site I'll assume you are already fairly savvy when it comes to electronic music. Similarly, if you're into electronic dance music in any serious way, you'll know who Robert Hood is. As a result, I'm going to skip the lengthy introduction covering exactly how and why he is regarded as one of techno's true innovators, a man whose place in the history of electronic music is already assured.
More importantly, the man is back releasing records again on his own revitalised M-Plant imprint, and bringing his still-unparalleled vision for the pared-down techno aesthetic to a very select number of venues. Enter fabric, a club so famous for it's incredible attention to detail that it seems a perfect fit with a DJ and producer of Hood's stature.
Support on the night comes from D'Julz, Ben Sims, Nick Curly's Cecille crew, the usual top class residents, as well as a special live performance from Leeds' foremost 4/4 collective, 20:20 Soundsystem.

What year was the anti-corporate musical collective, which Robert Hood is a founding member of, formed?
Please send your answer by email to info@inverted-audio.co.uk, no later than THURSDAY 29th OCTOBER.
As usual, the first correct answer drawn from the hat will be chosen, and our decision is final. Sorry, but this competition is only available to UK residents.
