Micron has earned its reputation as one of the best club nights in the country. Attracting cutting edge UK and international guests, Micron draws a loyal and fun loving crowd to monthly shindigs at Joshua Brooks (Manchester) and now, first Saturdays at The Light (London) to hear deep and jacking house, techno, electro, some disco and electronica… all in an acid house spirit!

Now, to celebrate 3 years in the business (during which time they've taken their sound across the map to numerous festivals and other club nights) they've gone and recruited a very special name to headline the usual, excellent rollcall of residents. If there is one artist whose tunes all those Micron residents have hammered, it is Christian Burkhardt.

He stands out as one of the freshest producers of the past few years and has most definately stamped his character on the scene. Tunes such as Doubledub and Contemporary Box, and the current Boomerang EP, have more personality than most acts squeeze out of an entire career, and have seen his star rise and rise. DJ-wise, his deep, twisted and wonky musical journeys, discarding genres on the way, are a regular fixture on the European and particularly, Berlin clubbing landscape

As prolific as anyone else right now, Christian is perfect for Micron's basement and a proper good birthday treat!
