La Roux - In For The Kill (Skream's Let's Get Ravey Remix)So I headed down to the last FWD vs Rinse at the End last Friday and amongst all the amazing new music that was played there was one tune that really stuck in my head. This tune was the last one that Skream played and it turns out that it was his brand spanking new remix of 80's throwback singer La Roux's song "In For the Kill". If anyone has heard some of Skream's most recent bits like "I Love the Way" and "Love Don't Come Easily" then you will know what to expect. For those of you who haven't, they are essentially vocal tunes with a serious amount of old skool pressure injected into them: tunes which hark back to early ninties hardcore and jungle. e best of all his new beats and hopefully it will see some sort of release soon. Unfortunately, there's no audio for it yet but if you lock into Skream's "Stella Sessions" radio show on Rinse F.M. between 9-11pm tomorrow night (21st January) then you'll hear it as he's promised to play it.
